The Zahrani Branch of the Lebanese Red Cross provides vital health services to 52 towns and villages, serving a population of more than 163,000 persons.
Every year, it costs the Zahrani branch $530,000 to provide free ambulance and primary health services to the community. In 2021, the branch served a total 24,208 persons.

The Zahrani branch aims to improve and increase its capacity to reach more people, faster, and with a better quality of care. This includes:

Increasing the number of ambulance teams available and thereby ensuring that no emergency call goes unanswered.
Increasing the capacity of the Primary Health Care center and the available medicine to help families and patients cope with the economic crisis
