Philippines: Cebu Earthquake
A devastating 6.9 magnitude earthquake has struck Cebu, leaving over 170,000 people affected, thousands displaced, and vital infrastructure, including homes, schools, and hospitals, damaged or destroyed. Families in northern Cebu face collapsed buildings, blocked roads, and continued aftershocks, with the most vulnerable - children, elderly, and persons with disabilities - at greatest risk. The Philippine Red Cross is on the ground providing emergency relief, shelter, health care, and recovery support, but urgent help is needed to scale up the response.
