Philippines: Typhoons and Floods

In just three weeks during October and November 2024, the Philippines faced the devastating impacts of four tropical cyclones, displacing over 1.4 million people and severely affecting 9.9 million others. The destruction of homes, schools, and livelihoods has left vulnerable communities in urgent need of basic necessities like food, water, and shelter, with two more storms expected to intensify the crisis.
