RED Family Fund
Even one life lost is far too many. Yet since the beginning of 2024, 50 Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers and staff have died or been killed while performing their humanitarian duties. This is among the highest levels of global violence against National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies’ teams that we’ve ever experienced.
This World Humanitarian Day in 2025 (19 August), the global humanitarian community’s #ActForHumanity campaign stands with the Red Family Fund – honouring those we’ve lost and supporting the families they leave behind.
In the spirit of World Humanitarian Day, please donate today. Every contribution – big or small – helps provide vital assistance to the families of those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Your contribution honours their service and ensures their loved ones receive much-needed support. We invite you to stand with the families and loved ones these brave people have left behind.
