The Lebanese Red Cross Needs Humanitarian Support Now
Since 2 March 2026, Lebanon has been facing a significant escalation of hostilities affecting several regions across the country, particularly South Lebanon, Nabatieh, Tyre, and Bekaa, with impacts extending nationwide. As of 14 April 2026, continuous airstrikes and shelling have led to civilian casualties, displacement, and increasing pressure on hospitals and essential services. More than 2,124 people have been killed, 6,921 injured, and over 141,000 displaced across 689 shelters, as the situation continues to evolve into a prolonged emergency.
Across Lebanon, the Lebanese Red Cross is responding 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support people affected.
Cumulative impact since March 2:
- 23,330 ambulance patients served
- 5,880 blood components distributed
- 88,037 medical services provided
- 243,938 relief items distributed
