The COVID-19 situation in Nepal has rapidly evolved in the past four weeks, following the pace of the pandemic situation in neighbouring India. After seeing a stable situation between December to mid-March with limited infections and mortality, the country is now rapidly reimposing restrictions and lockdowns as the health facilities are rapidly becoming overwhelmed.
Nepal Red Cross Society has been implementing COVID-19 preparedness and response operation since the beginning of the pandemic, but as it is escalating, we are calling for your support. Thanks to your donation, NRCS will be able to reach thousands of people across the country, continuing to provide PPE, Ventilators, ambulance service, food distribution and ensure no one is left behind with the vaccination.
NRCS is doing a lot more to serve the community, so for more information on the overall COVID-19 operation carried out by NRCS click here.
